Timmy Cronin Senior Memorial Cup – 2016

Saturday July 16th is the 2nd annual Gaelic Football Tournament hosted by the Winston-Salem Wolfhounds GAA team. We are excited to be expanding our tournament this year by having: an additional team enter from Alexandria, VA, we will have Irish dancers performing this year as well has having a wide variety of food from local business and people. We hope you can join us for some Gaelic sports, friendly conversations and some exciting entertainment.

The Tournament: The “Timmy Cronin Senior Memorial Cup”

“My granddad (Timmy Cronin Senior) passed away on March 30th 2012. Timmy Cronin was “Old Stock”, so he believed in hard work, having respect for people who deserved it, holding government accountable & holding conversations with friends and family. He was also a big supporter of Gaelic sports and was a huge advocate for Irish Culture. I would like to acknowledge his life and to say that he is always in my thoughts and prayers. I dedicated this Cup to him. Rest in Peace!”
