St. Patrick’s Day Celebration March 17th 2018

If you are looking for Irish sports, Irish culture, Irish people and maybe win a ticket to see the Emerald Isle itself, then you have found the right event.
Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your local 2017 O’Sullivan Cup champions, the Winston-Salem Wolfhounds GAA club & Foothills Brewing this March 17th, 2018 from 12pm to 11pm.

COVER CHARGE: None. All events are FREE!

2-3pm: GAA sports demo
> open to all ages, genders & skill levels

RAFFLE FAQs

HOW DO I GET RAFFLE TICKETS?

  1. ask any member of our club
  2. Meet us at one of our practices
  3. email us at info@winstonsalemgaa.org to arrange a date/time
  4. A member of our club is often at Foothills Tasting room at the following days/times:
    1. Tuesday: 7-8pm 
    2. Wednesday: 6.30-8pm
    3. Saturday: 12-1pm
  5. purchase them at our St. Patrick’s Day event…if there are any left 

 

HOW DO I PAY?

  • Tickets cost $25 each
  • visit our payment options page for more information on paying electronically
  • see info in the “How do I get Raffle Tickets” section to meet us in order to pay with Cash/Check

 

WHY DO I  WIN MORE MONEY IF I TRAVEL TO IRELAND?

  1. The purpose of the prize is to promote Irish Culture and give people an opportunity to experience Ireland in all its beauty in person
  2. If you choose not to go or simply can’t go to Ireland then the alternative option is to cash out and receive $2,000

 

HOW DO I BOOK MY TRIP TO IRELAND IF I WIN?

  1. Our club is working with a professional travel agent to help you book your amazing trip to Ireland.
    1. Agent: Elizabeth Curran from Outlander Travel
  2. We can also work with another agent if you have one
  3. We can also work with you if you decide to book the trip yourself online but we highly recommend you use the expertise of a professional travel agent to get the most out of your trip

RAFFLE RULES AND REGULATIONS?

  1. Our club will pay for the first $3,500 of your (the winner) trip to Ireland pending you (the winner) claiming the prize.
  2. The trip must be booked within 12 months of winning i.e. on/before 3/17/19. Exceptions to this will be considered on an individual basis.
  3. Unresolved issues with you (the winner) in regards to payment will result in payout of $2,000 on 3/17/19
  4. The balance of any trip costing more than $3,500 will be covered by you (the winner)
  5. You (the winner) will received a maximum of $1,000 spending money for any trip that costs less than $3,500
  6. At least 10% of all monies collected – excluding prize money – will be donated to Brenner’s Children Hospital on behalf of our club
  7. If you (the winner) do not claim the main prize within 180 days of the draw, the full cash-out amount will be donated to a charity of our (the club) choosing instead
  8. If you want to give the prize of the trip away to someone else, you are free to do this.
