St. Patrick’s Day 2017
March 17th, 2017 marked the 2nd annual Wolfhounds St. Patrick’s Day celebration (and annually GAA season kick-off party) at Foothills Brewing Tasting Room. We would like to thank all the wonderful and accommodating staff at the Tasting Room for hosting once again, give a shout out to Góilín for providing traditional Irish music, and a heart felt thanks to all of our supporters who came to celebrate with us. Please check out some pics from the night by clicking ‘Read the rest…’
The community of Winston-Salem did not disappoint and the turn out was even bigger than last year. We had a lot of fun things on offer again this year like:
- 2 hours of fantastic Traditional Irish music from Góilín
- lots of Irish food samples prepared by Tim Cronin (Soda Bread & Scones), Jason Finnerty (Soda Bread) & FoodIreland (Sausages, Rashers)
- Raffle prizes – generously donated by: Foothills Tasting Room, Starbucks, FleetFeet, Winston-Salem Wolfhounds GAA, Tim & Jeanne McCulloch
- General GAA, Irish & St. Patrick’s Day Info provided by all club members on the night.
Special thanks to:
- Tasting Room bar staff
- Winston-Salem Wolfhounds Volunteers
- Winston-Salem Community for your continued support
- Nora Shively & all at the Wake Forest Alzheimer’s Disease Core Center for their continued support of our club

Can you please send me the contact information for the band that played at Foothills on St. Patty’s Day? Eric said their name was Giòlín. I would like to get them to play for my Mom’s 85th birthday party. Thank you very much.
