WSW_Brenner2016_1August 30th is the last training night of our club and we wanted it to be a very special night indeed. For that reason, we have decided to host a fundraiser called “Run 30 for 30” for Brenner Children’s Hospital. Event Details

Event Name: Run 30 for 30

Event Cost: A minimum donation of $10 is required to enter the run…see ‘How to Enter’ for more details

Event Details: The participant will run 30 laps (12km/7.5miles) of the running track around the intramural soccer field – off Cromartie St – to commemorate Brenner Children’s Hospital 30th anniversary. One lap for every year their doors have been open. Teams of up to 3 are allowed but entry is still $10 per person. As this is a charity event and a fun run, times will not be recorded and there will not be any individual prices for runners finishing first, second, third, etc. However, each participant will receive a finishers medal on completing the run. There will also be some light refreshments and entertainment on the night. There will also be medical assistance available on the night if it is required by anyone.

Update – Also, if you don’t want to participate in the running aspect of the event then you are under no obligation to do so BUT if you have to time then please come down and support the event by giving a monetary donation (see ‘How to Enter’ for more details), bring a yoga mat or maybe you want to try some of our Gaelic sports like Gaelic Football or Hurling. We will have some informal Gaelic sports demos on the night as well.

    • A minimum donation of $10 is required to enter the run. Additional donations can be made online or on the night and we thank you for your kind generosity.
    • PLEASE bring a print of your Order Confirmation email OR
    • a screenshot of the Order Confirmation on your phone OR
    • the Card you used to make the payment along with the Order Number you received in the email
  • On the day – Cash/Check or Card

Venue: Winston-Salem State University, 601 South Martin Luther King Junior Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27110 (see map below)

Brenner Children’s Hospital – “A Mission to Care a Mission to Cure”

Brenner is a fantastic institution in Winston-Salem and does an enormous amount of good for the children not only of Winston-Salem but far beyond the city, state and country as well. 2016 is the 30th year the doors of Brenner Children’s Hospital have been open to the public and in case you don’t know some of the great achievements they have made in those 30 years, here is a snapshot:
