Irish classes @ DCCC
There are Irish language classes at the Davidson County Community College (DCCC) again this year – from August 22, 2016 – November 16, 2016 – and they are well worth the money if you want to learn some Gaeilge (Irish). The teacher this year will be Jason Finnerty from County Galway.
Learning a different language always has positive benefits for the individual BUT in regards to helping to understand the culture of a country then understanding the language is essential. Here are some personal reasons why you should considering learning another language (source):

Irish Beginner classes
- Date: August 22, 2016 – November 16, 2016
- Afternoon classes (Days/Times): Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00pm to 12:45pm.
- Evening classes (Day/Time): Mondays from 6-8pm

Advanced beginners class

- Day/Time: Thursdays from 6-8pm.

Both classes are $49 and run until November 16th.
